Sam Devito is a film cameraman, editor & photographer who works with brands & organizations to tell stories about people & products.

He needed to put in place a Visual Identity so his brand could be represented better in the world of film. After a long briefing and research, we decided that the best for Sam would be a minimalist approach, since his target was Mid-tier to Luxury brands. A statement to his style of work, and his attention to detail. Presenting himself as a professional and bold. Trying to tell a story with less.

The symbol we designed was a distinctive sign which represents the light touching the lens. The moment where memories get fixed in the film.

I worked closely with Sam through all the stages, to ensure that his personality is reflected in his brand. After exploring some initial ideas we decided to go with a direction that is minimal and tells the story of the film best. The concept is based on the way that camera works and how stories are fixed in the film.
